Project Worker - Midlothian
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Midlothian.
The Midlothian Family Wellbeing Hub offers support to help improve the emotional wellbeing of children and their families across Midlothian impacted by parental substance use, poverty and poor mental health amongst other challenges. We are also funded to provide support for Kinship carers and the children they care for.
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the team. In the Project Worker role you will connect with children and their families offering them space and time to begin to share their story and thinking with them about what they might need to make the changes they hope to achieve. We offer a range of different supports for children and families, including individual and family support; therapeutic parenting approaches, peer led groups and connection through community partners. This is an exciting yet demanding role which will require you to get alongside children and their families where, when and how best suits them. We want to be able to offer children and families the right support at the right time.

- Fiercely passionate about Children’s Human Rights
- Shares our belief that it’s a privilege to get alongside children and families to help life feel better for them
